Daily Burn: Day Twenty One!

              This is it! Twenty One Day challenge is over. I worked out nearly every day, I did miss a few. I changed my diet COMPLETELY which was not easy, but I did it!

I have not had coffee for 21 days. That is pretty huge and that was not always easy either. I know that there is another level of clean eating that I eventually want to get to, but for now these small changes are working for me.

I successfully turned down temptations and desires that came up nearly every single day. I did go through a bit of depression when I wasn't losing any weight and I was really working at not eating anything off my diet and working out every day.

But I pushed through it and kept at it. I have only had fruit smoothie's every morning for breakfast and the only snack I allow my self is fat free yogurt, fruit, or almonds. My diet is actually balanced for the first time ever I think, healthy amount of fruit's veggies, meats, and grains and oils.

One of the biggest things for me during this time was to not just get my physical body in shape but to also take that time away with Jesus every day and keep my spiritual health as well. I really think that's key in any attempt to change behavior's

I did the free 30 day trial of daily burn, but now that I have been at it for 21 days I most definitely will be keeping it and paying the 10$ monthly to keep it going. I hope I can continue on this health journey of mine, my blogs will end for now but my constant work will not. Thank you to every one who has encouraged me and kept me going it has meant more than you possibly know!

.....Now for the final weigh in.

After 21 days.
Starting at 204.0 pounds ..... I am now 194.2 ........ I know I didn't hit my goal weight.. but I will most definitely take the 10 pound loss.
I am grateful and blessed.

Daily Burn: Day Twenty

Well were down to the last two days of the challenge and then we will do the final weigh in.

Day twenty was pretty successful. I started my morning with my usual breakfast smoothie. Then did a 40 min total body work out with a squat challenge. I still struggled with some of the work out's but could feel my body gaining muscle and getting stronger in other areas. It felt good.
I had a whole wheat tortilla with some refied beans and a little bit of cheese turned into a quesidilla I also added some avacado.
For dinner I tried my sprouted rice and quinoa blend something we recently picked up at Costco... expensive stuff.
Well it didnt exactly taste the way I was hoping it would. I added kindey beans, black beans. and corn and it still tasted super bland.
oh well. at least I tried it. Things seem to be getting better as far as my emotions go with this whole thing. It took some time but I am actually feeling stronger and like I can lose weight. It feels great.

Daily Burn: Day Eighteen and Nineteen

Day 18...I have had little moments of depression try to take over while I am attempting to change my lifestyle. It is so important to stay mentally strong, I didn't do a work out video today and that really messes with me mentally. I guess I feel like if I don't work out then I will not lose weight.
I really have to let that go because I just can't work out every day...bottom line.

But I can stay focused on eating right and stretching really good even if I can't work out.

I am still having a smoothie every day for breakfast..I would love to change some things up like try using almond milk or something...but were not there yet.

We had a really big birthday party to go to and it was tricky because naturally there were millions of yummy little treats everywhere.
Seriously...on every table there was an edible candy tree...pretty sure that would have never happened if I wasn't trying to lose weight.
They served carna asada which is just a thin piece of lean meat, I also had some pinto beans and rice. I had NO cake ...success!!
We ate at somewhat of a weird time so later that evening I threw a salad together with avocado and a hard boiled egg.
Cheat: I did have some ochata ( traditional Mexican milk drink) and some pineapple concoction which was delicious...so there must have been sugar in it..eek.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 19... Things are getting down to the wire.. I still can't believe that I have been eating right for 19 days. It feels awesome and saying no is getting so much easier.
So I began my day with a smoothie like normal and I stayed full until about 12:00.. then I became hangry..
we planned on going to lunch at Olive Garden with some friends for a goodbye party.
Olive Garden is my greatest weakness...Italian food is my kryptonite.
I was so hangry by 12:30 I had to do something so I ate some almonds before we got to the restaurant. I am so glad I did because the warm bread sticks sitting right in front of me were so tempting.
I had some salad and waited about an hour for my soup to come... another thing that would probably never happen if I wasn't boycotting bread sticks.
I managed to survive..no fatty food and no bread sticks.
For dinner we had grilled steak chunks with black beans and avocado in a whole wheat wrap.
Cheat: Andes mint and for an evening snack I had apples with peanut butter....another weakness.
GOOD NEWS - I did weigh in ..because I was getting somewhat depressed about not losing weight. I am down to 195 pounds! almost down 10 pounds since the start and that is huge for me! No official work out today. I did do a bunch of house work and jumped my heart out on the trampoline.
Daily Burn: Day Sixteen/Seventeen
...Oh my word, it has already been sixteen days ...over two weeks. I am starting to get a bit disappointed in my results. I had rapid loss in the first week which I know is normal and now that I am over the second week I seem to be stuck and I am quickly loosing motivation to keep working out.
I know this is the "breaking point" where most people give up and stop. I have pushed through temptations and kept on my diet..but with the schedule things have gotten crazy.
Thursday I have a w omens group that meet's mid morning, so I had my usual smoothie and quickly got the girls ready and made everyone's lunches. I was so tempted to just throw a PB and J together for my self but I stayed strong and made a beans and rice wrap.
I got home around 2 pm and didn't get as much water as I usually do, I was feeling really sluggish and slow so I had a protein shake.
For dinner we had a bunch of hot dogs left over, so I threw them in some chili for the kids and Jose ... I had a bowl of rice, corn, and beans...yeah not so delicious but better than chili and hot dogs I guess.
No work out video, but I did stretch..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Day Seventeen..
Friday has quickly come and had another day filled with temptation's. When I work out I like to do it before I get ready for the day, since I have to shower anyway. That way I can get as sweaty as I want. So when I have to be ready to have some company over early it kind of throws my work out plans off schedule. I love having the company, I just need to figure out a way to stay on track while still getting ready for the day prior to the work out. So that is something on my "work on" list.

For breakfast I had my regular smoothie, for lunch I had a hamburger, egg salad.. it tasted super weird but I am running out of inspiration and ideas..so what can I say.
My husband got off work early and was kind enough to bring home Popsicle's for everyone...yes everyone except me. It was super sweet and the girls were way excited but it was just one more temptation for me to overcome. Since my day was so thrown off, I never got around to running my errands. So when my 10 month old finally went down for a nap I was able to squeeze out for a few min to run some errands. My dinner plan which was some lean steak slices fell through when I realized the meat wasn't even close to being ready or thawed by dinner time.
So as I was out Jose asked me to grab some dinner..........
I blanked.
Since this whole new change, I have not had to think about fast food. We don't usually ever do fast food either unless we are out and we always try to stick close to subway or something healthy.
But Jose was not in the mood for subway and honestly it kept me from freaking out and getting a bunch of bread taht I can't have.
So Carl's JR it was and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard not to order a juicy burger. I stayed strong and ordered one of the two salads offered there...
At home as Jose was eating, some fries came somewhat close to me and with all of my strength I pushed them away from me. ~~sigh~~~~
It was not easy, but it felt like a major breakthrough. Even though the scale isnt changing very much, I know that I am...slowly. But surely.

Daily Burn: Day Fourteen/Fifteen

Day Fourteen....2 weeks in and I am terrified to weigh in. Lately it feels like things have slowed way down and I am not nearly as excited or energetic about working out. On day Fourteen, I started my day with a smoothie and then started cleaning and getting things in order for the house. W
hich is a never ending battle in my life. For lunch I had a very interesting blend of ingredients, I had a wrap with hard boiled egg and green salad as well as carrots. It actually tasted pretty good, but it was different. For dinner I made a delicious chicken and dumpling dish from scratch, so I was able to have the yummy part with out the dumpling. Lots of  veggies in it. I did not do a work out but we did go on a bike ride in the canyon and it was great and I love being able to get out with the girls on their bikes. One day we will figure out how to get the whole family on bikes at the same time. Overall it was a great day!
Breakfast: Smoothie
Lunch:  Mixed veggie and hard boiled egg wrap
Dinner: Chicken broth mix with veggies
Snack- Yogurt with blueberries
...oh yeah and the 2 week weigh in ......196.00 not horrible but it still seems like it should be lower for two weeks...but oh well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day Fifteen was filled with temptation!! But I did really good. First off, I began my day with a smoothie like normal and then did an 11 min work out called Bikini But...I know lame name. But I wanted to try it, I can assure you I do NOT have a bikini but what ever that means but this work out was incredible. It was only 11 minuets, but it was 11 minuets of power training and focusing on the glutes..very awesome and I am very sore from it. Also I did a 15 minuet core work out, I don't have a dun bell yet so I had to improvise with a 5 pound trophie..yeah try picturing that haha. It was super awkward but I am committed and that is the beauty of working out at home. I had leftovers for lunch, still avoided the dumplings but at up the veggies and broth.
Dinner was tricky, on Wednesday's we host a youth grace group and last night we held a big bbq for the kids. Well to avoid that temptation I made myself dinner an hour ahead of time, so I had a delicious taco salad and completely avoided the burgers and hot dogs. The ice cream sundae's however didn't quite go as planned, I did have a small scoop of ice cream along with everyone else. But what can I say, its summer :)
Breakfast: Smoothie
Lunch: Left over chicken broth with veggies
Dinner: Taco Salad
Snack: Yogurt
Cheat: One Scoop of vanilla Ice cream
Daily Burn: Day Twelve/Thirteen
Day Twelve ~ sigh~ another day that was "off regular schedule" I still began my morning with a protein shake , it being Sunday I was a little nervous because we had a meeting right after church. I didn't have the time to throw a healthy lunch together that wouldn't need to be refrigerated.
I planned to not eat the pizza lunch that was provided for free...I know MORE free food lol. I planned this until I got into the room with 5 boxes of pizza and a rumbling stomach.
So my amazing husband pointed out there was a chicken pizza option which I guess was the lesser of  evils in this case. So I had one slice of chicken and tomato pizza. Before I would limit my self to two or three pieces, so just having one piece was progress.
For dinner we had something really basic, I actually let Jose take care of him and the girls and I just had corn tortilla's with a little bit of refied beans and salsa.
I also had some apples with peanut butter as a snack. So not a totally bad day but I also didn't fit in a work out video. Instead we went to the park and I tested out my brand new beach cruiser bike. We rode for about an hour, so that was my work out and it was a blast!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Day Thirteen was great! I was back on track with meals and work out's, but taking two day's off was NOT easy. I wasn't motivated at all and since I am still on my womanly flow, I just wanted to sit and relax. I started my day with a protein shake and then after a while did a KIT video ( Kickboxing Interval Training) it was for 35 min and I felt like I wasn't going to make it.
It was so intense, but also super good for me to push through. I had a salad for lunch with two hard boiled eggs and carrots. Delicious!
For dinner I had made an amazing pot roast with potatoes, onions, and carrots. I tried to limit my portion down and did a pretty good job of it..but I did go back for some more. It was so good.
I also had some yummy apples and peanut butter for desert.
Overall a pretty great day. I haven't really been weighing in. I am nervous too. I don't take let down well and if i gained weight back...I just don't know if I will stay motivated. But tomorrow day 14 I will weigh in.
Promise ;)

Daily Burn: Day Ten/Eleven

Day ten was amazingly awesome! Jose had to work, and the day before I had done no work out, so I was eager to get back into things.
I chose a 40 min ab video.
It was amazing but as I recall doing ab work in weight lifting in high school, you never really feel the pain that day..
I worked really hard to stay with it and keep up the momentum. For breakfast I had my first protein powdered shake. mixed with berries and and a banana. For lunch, I made a weird random meal of rice, corn and pinto beans....Dont ask. I know it sounds weird, but I am kind of running out of ideas for lunch. I was able to catch up with one of my favorite people, so we went and got frozen yogurt.. and I did great with my yogurt choices..but, I did put in 3 little chunks of candy bar, they were so tiny. Oh well I have to allow my self that chance every now and then.

For dinner my family had delicious quesadilla's  and I had a taco salad.
I had water all day and milk with dinner, just because for some reason ever since I lost my gal bladder I cannot process grease, any kind of grease with out drinking milk with the meal.
Kind of annoying but I deal.
Breakfast: Smoothie
Lunch: Rice, Corn, Pinto beans
Dinner: Taco Salad
Cheat: Frozen Yogurt with candy chunks
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day Eleven...It seems like we are like half way there, I think I am and I have not lost the weight I planned to. I am trying to stay positive, I know I could burn it faster if I became way more strict on what I eat. It's hard though because we just cant budget to buy almond butter an
d milk and almond flour and coconut water and all of those amazingly healthy alternatives.
So I will just keep working hard to get there.
Day Eleven was Saturday and 80 degrees, I began my morning with my shake and we took the girls to a fun city event that had free bounce houses and games and FREE hot dogs. WHAT Free Hot Dogs..... seriously. So we were there my family enjoyed the free hot dogs, I walked and found a Tuna Wrap...not for free. For 6 bucks. ~~Sigh~~~
Oh well, at least I dodged the hot dog bullet.
Oh and did I mention that my stomach feels like I sliced it open with rusty blade? Yes thank you ab video. Job done. I want to die and to top things off I started my period. So cramps on top of sore muscles. Wonderful....
For dinner we had burrito's I had a gluten free corn tortilla with lettuce and beans. No work out video though, just not enough time in the day. But i did Stretch :)
Daily Burn: Day Eight/Nine
Day eight of  daily burn was fairly intense. I began the day with a delicious smoothie and after my daughter went down for her nap I opened my daily burn video's and right there on the front page was a 48 min video called Animal Core.
The comment's from every single person said it was the hardest work out so far that they have encountered. So naturally I wanted to try it.
I had no clue how hard this was going to be, the trainer gives each move a cute animal name like the dolphin, and the gorilla swing, donkey kick, aligator push ups. Really these are incredibly painful floor routines. I had to do the modified version of each work out and I only made it through 35 min of it. I plan on going through it again at some point though!!
Diet: Breakfast - Delicious smoothie: 1 cup of ice, 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1/2 cup of strawberries, 1/2 cup of oats 1 tbs of honey.
        Lunch: Refied beans on a home made corn tortilla with lettuce on top
        Dinner: 1 cup of spaghetti with a side of apples
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Day Nine was my birthday, and I was tempted to deviate from the path of change. But I stayed strong.

I began my morning with one of my presents from my husband; protein powder!
Something I have been missing from my morning smoothies. I couldn't wait to put a shake together. So I began my morning with a berry, banana smoothie. From there I chose to get my 3 girls out of the house because it was a beautiful day. So no video work out. Instead we took a 2 mile walk through the canyon to mcdonalds where we got ourselves a berry parfait, then we walked back. I worked to tighten muscles while walking and tried to keep a very fast pace...as fast as i could with a 5 and 6 year old.

But at the end of our walk I was really feeling it. I stretched to try and get my muscles healed up. Lunch was a bit tricky because I was really wiped out from the walk, I ended up just having an egg on some toast.
Birthday Dinner was very tricky, my husband took me to a new restaurant, one that I really wanted to try. Sadly they had next to nothing on their menu that I could have. They had one salad...ONE and it had nothing in it, just some onions and olives they had soup but only the soup of the day. So I chose to do soup and a mini salad. Literally everything else on the menu was covered in grease. The soup of the day was Broccoli Cheddar. I nearly cried. That soup is sooooooo fatty, but I guess it was better than a big fat cheeseburger. So I had a soup and salad.
After wards we went and got frozen yogurt. I stuck to low fat 100 calorie yogurts only and topped it with a bunch of fruit.
Over all a great birthday and an awesome Daily Burn.

Daily Burn: Day Seven

 I have officially hit my one week mark!!!!

I am super excited and I feel great~ Day seven was actually a great day, everything was back to normal as far as my "schedule" went. On Monday I did some really intense work with my muscles so today I took some time to just heal. I did a 40 min mobility and recover video it added in I guess some yoga moves but it felt great and my muscles feel much better.

As far as my diet, I did great started my morning with the usual smoothie but this time I skipped the banana and added low fat yogurt...and the consistency was kind of yuck but it tasted amazing. Still no coffee..I cannot believe I have gone an entire week with out coffee and I have barely noticed.

For lunch I had to homemade gluten free corn tortillas no oil necessary to make into a tostada- I added a tbs of re fie'd  beans sprinkled very lightly with cheddar cheese and added tons of lettuce and a tsp of salsa..it was super yummy.
For Dinner, I made the BEST spaghetti of my life and I just had to have some, but I limited my portion to one cup and had a bunch of green salad with carrots and tomatoes.
Best part of the Day! NO CHEAT!!! Nothing. It was great.

And If you remember my original weigh in was 204 pounds.
One week later my current weight is .........198 pounds!! Slowly but surely I am inching towards my goal and the best part is, I have never felt better!!

Wahoo lets keep going.

Daily Burn: Day Six

Day Six went really well,
 It was a holiday so the "schedule" was still off, but the nice thing about the holiday is that it meant Jose was able to stay home. He was able to watch Naomi while I squeezed in a 40 min work out. Stretches and kick boxing, it felt amazing but my muscles were getting really sore.

As far as my diet, I did great all day except for a little bbq held in the evening.
 We went and celebrated Memorial Day and a three year old's birthday with some friends. I did pretty well, I only had one slice of bread with my hamburger and went light on the potato salad and had lots of veggies. I did have a small piece of cake and when I was given two scoops of ice cream I put one scoop back in the bucket. So overall I felt pretty good about the day.

Diet: Breakfast ~ Banana, Blueberry, and Strawberry smoothie
        Lunch~ Left over chicken on green salad
        Dinner~ Hamburger with potato salad, carrots and cracker dip with some wheat thins
        Cheat~ Cake and Ice cream.....so worth it ..yum!

Daily Burn: Day Five

Day five was Sunday and I felt challenged again to stay on "schedule." Really what I mean by schedule is basically not eating away from the house and plenty of time in my day to work out. Sunday, was tricky because we have church in the morning and in the afternoon we rush to get lunch on the table for our 3 hungry kiddos.

I felt like I did pretty good especially after completely flopping on Saturday, I was determined to make Sunday count!

One of my biggest changes during this 21 day challenge has been eliminating coffee from my diet. I actually just tricked myself out of it. I never would have thought it was possible for me to give it up. But I am 5 days "sober" from coffee that is...lol.

It is a huge adjustment but I actually have tons more energy with starting my day with the smoothie, so I don't normally miss it. However, Sunday was a CHALLENGE!! My husband and I stayed in the nursery during service from start to finish. Let me tell you, it was draining. Draining, like my eyes wanted shut and I was irritated with everyone, I became frustrated that I was so tired and desperately wanted coffee.

Everything even'd out once I had some lunch, I never gave into the coffee thing, but it wasn't easy. The good news, I got back on track with the video's, I spent 40 minuets sweating it out in a cardio sculpting video...It was amazing!

Diet:  Breakfast ~ Banana and Blueberry Smoothie
         Lunch~ Chicken Salad one a single piece of wheat toast topped with lettuce and a single piece of fat free skim milk american cheese.
        Dinner~ Shredded chicken with 1 Tbs of salsa added in thrown on top of fresh green salad with a dollop of sour cream.
        Cheat: A few bites of my german chocolate birthday brownies

Daily Burn: Day Four

 Day Four was kind of a Flop....I really had to try not to beat myself up about it. It being Saturday our whole schedule is different. For one thing my husband is home which is a great thing but we get so busy completing projects and house work. So, I spent about 2 hours scrubbing my bathrooms, dusting my living room, and scrubbing dish's. After that we had to leave and just kept going until that evening. My big plan to watch my work out video's didn't happen. However, I did burn a ton of calories scrubbing my house, so I guess that counts.

It was also a bit of a rough day for my diet. Breakfast and lunch were great, buttt then we went to a birthday party and well..I had really good intentions to be awesome. I did stay away from chips and I only ate one piece of bread with my hamburger, I had lots of fruit...but then everything came crashing down when I opened my german chocolate brownie's... yeah. It was a rough day, but all good. I have to allow myself some grace and remember to just get back on track, so tomorrow will also be weird because it's still the weekend but like I said, I will have to adapt and over come!

Breakfast: Banana and Strawberry smoothie
Lunch:   Grilled chicken with pinto beans and one hard boiled egg
Dinner: One hamburger, 1 cup of cantaloupe and 1/2 cup of whipped cottage cheese with banana's
Cheat: 1 12oz root beer and german chocolate cake and ice cream

Weigh in- 199.0

Daily Burn: Day Three

Day three into this new life change of mine and I must say things are going great. It is always frustrating when I start something like this because of course I never see immediate results. This however, is the first time I have adapted my diet along with my work outs.

Although, I never did rid my life of the "evil 6" I am still checking labels, which I honestly never did in the past. I am only eating things with real ingredients and I am trying to avoid the evil 6.

Today because of the kick boxing and other work out's my muscles are pretty sore, so for my work out today I plan on stretching as much as possible. So I did a 30 min Yoga video which was embarrassing, because I am NOT flexible. Also I did a 20 min warm up stretching video. Both were exactly what I needed to help my poor muscles.

Diet :         Breakfast~ Banana and Blueberry smoothie

                 Lunch~ Grilled chicken with gluten free corn tortilla's (3) and 1 cup of heated pinto beans

                 Dinner~ Orange chicken 1/2 cup and 1 cup of white steamed rice
                 Snack~ one hard boiled egg , 1/2 cup of fat free vanilla yogurt with blueberries

                 Cheat~ a few sips of hubby's root beer float honestly a few sips!

When my husband recommended that we go out for dinner, of course I was super excited to not cook. However, I began to panic when he suggested Chinese food. I am a new beginner at this healthy life style stuff but I know that Chinese food is not so great for my lifestyle adventure change.

I calmed down and decided that I am going to face challenges like this all the time and I need to learn to just adapt and overcome. So when the crab puff wan ton's were ordered, I had none. Also the pork fried rice, I had none. I kept my plate super empty and just stuck to the chicken and white rice. I know those two things were still bad for me, but it felt like a win.
Also, after wards we went through A&W which we NEVER do, seriously we budget our money very closely and we do not splurge like ever. So when my husband wanted to get a root beer float it was really really hard not to order something sweet. The girls got a vanilla cone to share and my husband got a root beer float then paused and asked the question I was praying he would not ask; "babe, do you want anything?" I about said, Yes, I will have a cone and a float, but I stayed strong and settled for taking just a few sips from his float. Overall it was a great day and I am happy to report after the weigh in at the end of the day from 202.4 pounds my new weight is ...................................199.0 Pounds!!!! That's right I lost weight!! I am so excited! I look forward to tomorrow.

Daily Burn: Day Two

     Day two of Mama Get's Fit went really well!

I began my morning with a smoothie, of course the 21 day challenge doesn't recommend using milk or bananas, but I have to be realistic and use what I have. Also as a household with just one income I realized it may not be the most wise thing to empty my whole house of the "evil 6" so instead I will do my best to avoid the foods that I know have them and make a conscious effort to stay healthy.

                   Breakfast Smoothie: 2 Bananas, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 1/2 cups of milk

I then did a 15 min mobility and stretching video followed by 37 min of kickboxing

                   24oz of water in between breakfast and the workout

                   Lunch: One fried egg with  one slice fat free skim american cheese one one slice of wheat toast
                   Dinner: 1 1/2 cups of Chicken with corn and black beans
Cheat: 2 oatmeal raisin cookies

Overall it was a great day there were some tough parts, like when my family had delicious buttermilk biscuits with dinner. I stayed strong but then fell weak later that night because Naomi wouldn't sleep. I had one biscuit with blueberries. I usually go to bed by 9pm but on the nights when that doesn't go as planned I usually get weak ...something I am really trying to overcome.

Daily Burn: Day One

  I don't usually like to talk about getting fit. Mainly because as soon as I "talk" about it, something happens and I stop. Then that awkward conversation comes up about your progress..or lack there of.

So I am blogging about my attempts at getting fit, mainly because I would like to have somewhat of a diary while I attempt what is about to happen.
I am not very athletic...at all. I always got picked last for every single sport in P.E. and to be fair they kind of had a right to not want to pick me. I could never successfully make a basket, or goal or even dodge in dodge ball. I managed to grow up with this mentality that I am just not fit and its ok to be out of shape.
I hate that mentality and now that I am nearly 26 years old its time I make some changes.
So I started a program called Daily Burn. It's an electronic daily workout program that is delivered directly to my computer,ipad, or tv. It is completely customized for my entry level work out skills. In addition to the work out videos it gives you this option to "ignite" which is a 21 day challenge to detox my body of the "evil 6." Now I am all for working out as long as I can still have my mcflurry's and subway sandwiches.
This program is challenging me to basically take my health a step further and see what will happen for 21 days.
So naturally I accepted this challenge, which is why I am blogging about it.
I need accountability and for someone who has never taken her health very seriously, writing about it, is the best outlet. Naturally I picked the ugliest day in May to begin my awesome transformation, but oh well, the beauty of this program is that I can do all this from my house without leaving.
I found out this was a very good idea because I do not look right when I attempt to follow the video's, I look sad and I miss nearly half of the moves.

It's ok though, I am sticking to this and accepting the 21 day challenge. Now some basics

~ The evil 6: Gluten, Soy, Dairy, added sugar, Alcohol,  & Artificial sweeteners, ~

So basically I cannot eat or drink anything with these 6 things.... So basically I cannot eat until I go shopping.

So day one will be somewhat of a wash however for my lunch I did have natural chicken breast with 1 tbs of mayo and 1 tbs of mustard mixed in with a slice of fat free skim american cheese on a single slice of wheat bread.
So I am off to a sort of good start

Some more basics~
My current weight is ..204. Heaviest I have ever been
My goal weight is 170 but not in 21 days
My 21 day goal is 185

Ok lets see what will happen! I am super excited and could use all the encouragement you can offer and I have one request please please please do not tell me this program sucks and blah blah blah and the evil 6 are not really evil and seven reasons why. I need encouragement not to be schooled on health matters because you already win just let me try my newly found exciting thing. Thanks :)
